Structural Spring Bearing

Stravibase Spring bearings are structural springs used for Building Base Isolation. They are designed and configured to meet natural frequencies between 2.5 Hz and 5 Hz.

Different dimensions and sizes are available depending on the acoustic and structural requirements. Main structural springs can also be nested with smaller ones to fine tune the performance. The solutions are covered with top and bottom plates including an elastomeric anti-slip layer.

Stravibase Spring bearings have a static deflection ranging from 10 mm to 30 mm. These bearings are only recommended for structures that are able to deal with such deflections during the construction process. Alternatively, pre-compressed spring solutions can be offered. Maintenance Free

Stravibase Spring can be used to decouple all types of elements (columns, beams, etc.) and does not require any type of maintenance.
