An Exclusive Interview with Our CEO
As we step into 2026, our CEO, Laurence Carels, reflects on the momentum built over the past year and shares her vision for the road ahead. In this interview, she highlights our key achievements, the trends shaping the construction industry, and the priorities that will guide us in an evolving and unpredictable market.
Discover her perspective on growth, sustainability, operational efficiency and the mindset needed to scale our impact and move forward together into another year of progress.
What are you most proud of in our company's achievements?
Over the past year, we have made significant progress across several key areas.
Our brand awareness has grown tremendously, supporting the expansion of our global presence and strengthening partnerships with suppliers and distributors worldwide.
At the same time, our continued year-over-year improvement in the Great Place to Work® score reflects the strong culture we are building together and our ongoing commitment to our people.
From a solutions perspective, the launch of the new ceiling hangers within the Stravilink range and the vibration mounts in the Stravimech range marked an important milestone, completing our solutions portfolio and reinforcing our position as YOUR Structural Acoustical and Vibration Isolation Technology partner.
As we move into 2026, this is the year to carry forward the momentum we have created, building on the wave we initiated and scaling the impact of everything we have set in motion.
What key trends or innovations in the construction market do you see shaping our industry, and how is our company positioning itself to lead?
Sustainability will remain a central pillar of our strategy, and we will continue integrating it across all our offerings, including principles such as design for disassembly.
At the same time, we see artificial intelligence playing an increasingly important role in improving efficiency throughout our processes, helping us work smarter and more effectively.
In parallel, the ongoing industrialisation of the construction market is reshaping the industry, and we are well-positioned to respond with scalable solutions and ongoing partnerships with key players.
What are the main challenges you foresee in the year ahead and how do you plan to turn them into opportunities for growth?
The market remains highly unpredictable, making agility essential as conditions continue to evolve. To turn this challenge into an opportunity, we are strengthening our focus on efficiency across every department, ensuring our operations are lean, aligned and scalable.
At the same time, getting even closer to our customers will be key, listening more carefully, responding faster and continuously increasing the value we deliver. This approach will not only allow us to adapt to change but also to grow through it.
Looking at our team, culture and values, what mindset or behaviours do you believe will be most critical for us to achieve our goals in 2026?
To achieve our goals this year, a strong sense of ownership and accountability across the organisation will be essential. Every team member plays a key role in turning strategy into impact, and taking responsibility for outcomes will help us move faster and more effectively.
At the same time, maintaining a clear focus on results will ensure that our efforts translate into tangible value for our customers and partners.
Supporting this mindset, leadership coaching will remain a priority, empowering our leaders to inspire their teams, foster collaboration and drive continuous development across the company.
2026 is the year we carry forward the wave we initiated, and scale the impact of everything we’ve set in motion.
