"High Performance"
Stravigym HP is a “High Performance” discrete isolator floating floor system that is performance engineered to control vibrations, minimize low-frequency impact noise, and reduce the transmission of audible structure-borne sound.
Stravigym HP combined with GympactLayer-20 is a suitable solution for areas with medium impact energy, like strength or cardio areas.
When configured with GympactLayer-45, it offers high mechanical resistance and acoustical performance making it a suitable solution for residential and light commercial gyms (impact energy < 600 N.m).
Benefits
-
For Specificers
Guaranteed Acoustical Performance
- Engineered for high acoustic performance requirements (e.g., strength, light free weights or functional areas)
- Possible to design with different bearing types (elastomeric bearings, springs, both with different load capacities or natural frequency) to cope with different criteria, both acoustically or load-related
- Natural rubber bearings provide a low, stable natural frequency over a wide load range, combining high dynamic stiffness with minimal deflection and low creep for long‑term performance
- Incorporates Constrained Layer Damping (CLD) within the load distribution layer, providing an effective balance of bending stiffness, ductility, damping capacity and low vibration radiation efficiency
- Constrained Layer Damping (CLD) integrated in the load distribution layer, optimising stiffness, ductility, damping and limiting vibration radiation
- Performance validated by laboratory testing (drop‑weight impact and standardised acoustic tests: Rw + Ln,w), complemented by on‑site measurements
Safety & Structural Integrity
- Lightweight system suitable for projects with structural load limitations
- Designed for high-impact zones (impact energy up to 600 N.m
- Reduces the risk of post‑installation performance deviations, non‑compliance and remedial works
Flexible Design
- Supports complex gym layouts through modular, adaptable system components
- Enables performance optimisation by zone, avoiding unnecessary overdesign while maintaining compliance
- Allows integration of additional impact‑absorption layers to increase contact time, reduce peak forces and improve energy dissipation where required
- System build-up can be tailored through additional or reduced layers to meet different acoustic requirements, mechanical loads and finish sensitivities
Easy to Specify
- Ready‑to‑use specification support, including .dwg construction details
Sustainability
- Environmental performance data available on request, including Global Warming Potential (GWP)
-
For Operators
Optimised Performance
- Suitable for mixed-use zones, supporting cardio, strength and light free‑weight areas within a single floor solution and allowing the same (or similar) floor level across different zones
- Balanced cost-to-performance approach, avoiding overinvestment in high‑performance solutions where not required
Installation & Operational Continuity
- Dry, modular installation minimises downtime and associated revenue loss during retrofit or refurbishment works
- Fast-track installation enables resolution of acoustic issues typically within one week, without requiring full gym closure
- Allows continued operation of adjacent areas, reducing disruption to members and staff
Flexibility & Adaptability
- System can be designed to achieve high acoustic performance and mechanical resistance while maintaining a limited build‑up height for floor‑to‑ceiling height optimisation (Stravigym XP Compact)
Risk Reduction & Durability
- Durable solution engineered for long-term operational performance under continuous use
- Reduces the risk of post-installation issues, callbacks and complaints from neighbouring or underlying spaces
- Controlled system behaviour helps limit unwanted vibrations and noise transmission, protecting brand reputation and landlord relationships
Proven Performance & Scalability
- Supports consistent performance across multiple locations through a standardised, repeatable solution
- Proven in real-world applications worldwide, across commercial gyms, residential facilities, chains and amenity spaces
Sustainability
- Modular system design, fully demountable and suitable for reuse or simplified end‑of‑life management
Acoustical Test Data

The Next Generation: dBooster® Technology
CDM Stravitec patented dBooster® technology decouples the load distribution layer from the resilient supports with minimal contact area.
Tests show that isolation efficiency improves for Stravigym systems and that it makes the gym floor performance less dependent on the impact energy level applied to the system.
