Residência de Estudantes da Asprela

This project involves a student hall of residence with 264 units (single and double bedrooms), designed with subtle rigor and refined materiality to ensure the comfort of its new residents.
The gym is located on the ground floor, with the bedrooms directly above it.

A Stravigym solution was developed to meet high acoustic standards, with the main goal of isolating impact noise from the gym floor and preventing sound transmission upwards to the rooms above, ensuring top-quality acoustic comfort.

To meet the acoustic requirements and ensure a peaceful living environment for the residents, a Stravigym HP, High Performance discrete isolator floating floor system was installed.
This dry system effectively minimizes sound transmission from various gym activities (such as cardio and weightlifting), absorbs and dampens vibrations (enhancing comfort for gym users), and prevents disturbances from reaching the upper floors.

The available build-up height was also taken into account when selecting the optimal solution, ensuring both acoustic performance and compatibility with the project’s design.
