En muchos edificios existen salas que requieren un aislamiento acústico excepcional, ya sea para evitar la entrada de ruido o para contenerlo en su interior. Estos espacios de alto rendimiento son esenciales en entornos como estudios de grabación, salas de espectáculos, instalaciones de radiodifusión o cines privados, donde la calidad del sonido y el control del ruido de fondo son fundamentales.

El sonido puede propagarse por múltiples caminos, suelos, paredes y techos, , lo que convierte el aislamiento acústico total en un desafío complejo. Para bloquear eficazmente estas rutas de transmisión, la solución más fiable es el sistema box-in-box.

Un sistema box-in-box (también conocido como room-in-room) consiste en crear una sala interior completamente desacoplada, aislada de la estructura circundante. Al combinar suelos, paredes y techos aislados, este sistema reduce de forma significativa la transmisión por flanqueo y maximiza el rendimiento acústico, ofreciendo el más alto nivel de aislamiento disponible.
