Located at Parque das Nações, a new leisure, commercial and residential district in Lisbon, the 5 star hotel ‘MYRIAD by SANA Hotels’ was executed in two concrete structure parts and glass surfaces with 142 m height. The building is connect to the existing Vasco da Gama Tower, a metal tower inaugurated in 1998 during the world exposition in Lisbon.
To isolate the technical rooms at 2nd, 21st and 23rd plants, several 100 mm thick Stravifloor Jackup concrete slabs with a natural frequency < 8 Hz were installed.
In addition, all concrete floors in the hotel were isolated with a Stravifloor Mat.
A jacuzzi and a swimming pool located on the 22nd floor were also acoustically isolated with a special pool system, using Stravifloor Mat.
