High Performance Spaces

In veel gebouwen zijn er ruimtes die een uitzonderlijke geluidsisolatie vereisen, of het nu gaat om het buiten houden van geluid of het binnen houden ervan. Deze hoogwaardige ruimtes zijn essentieel in omgevingen zoals opnamestudio's, concertzalen, omroepfaciliteiten of (privé)bioscopen, waar geluidskwaliteit en controle over het achtergrondgeluid van cruciaal belang zijn.

Geluid kan zich via meerdere wegen verspreiden – vloeren, wanden en plafonds – waardoor een complete akoestische isolatie een vrij complexe uitdaging is. Om deze transmissiepaden effectief te blokkeren, is het “box-in-box” systeem de meest betrouwbare oplossing.

Een “box-in-box” opstelling (ook wel “room-in-room” genoemd) houdt in dat er een volledig ontkoppelde binnenruimte wordt gecreëerd, geïsoleerd van de omringende structuur. Door ontkoppelde vloeren, wanden en plafonds te combineren, vermindert dit systeem de flankerende geluidsoverdracht aanzienlijk en maximaliseert het zo de akoestische prestaties, waardoor de hoogste standaard van geluidsisolatie kan worden bereikt.
