Spring Isolation Hanger
Stravilink ICH-S is a heavy-duty Isolation Ceiling Hanger with Springs engineered to acoustically decouple suspended ceilings and mechanical equipment from vertically stacked rooms.
Fourteen different spring types are available, designed for a 25 mm (1”) deflection for design loads between 55 N and 2450 N (12 lbs and 550 lbs).
Two frames for two load ranges capacities:
| Frame Height | Load Carrying Capacity | # Of Springs Available |
|---|---|---|
| 116 mm (4-9/16") |
25-665 N (6-150 lbs) |

Benefits
-
For Specifiers
Guaranteed Acoustical Performance:
- The 25 mm (1") deflection spring delivers 3.1 Hz resonance frequency at design load
- Wide range of springs available, covering load conditions from 12 lbs (55 N) to 550 lbs (2,450 N)
- Acoustical performance guaranteed even with misalignments, since it has a swing tolerance of up to 30º and rubber gasket prevents the rod from short-circuiting with the frame
Flexible Design:
- Flexible void options starting from 220 mm (8-3/4”), for limited space or increased performance
- Install on various structures, including concrete and CLT slabs, reducing the need for multiple product types
Safety:
- All springs have a minimum 70% travel from design deflection to overload condition, providing extra safety in design
Easy to specify:
- Easily integrate into project documentation and workflows with ready-to-use .dwg cross-sections and editable .doc specifications available online
Sustainability:
- Solution disassembles for sustainable end-of-life
- LEED Certification Available
-
For Installers
Time & Labor Savings:
- Can come pre-assembled (channel clip, eyebolt, clevis pin) making on-site installation easier and faster
- Can come pre-compressed, to limit the deflection, and to make levelling straightforward
- Can be supplied with rivnut for easy direct fixation
Installation Ease:
- Swing tolerance of up to 30º to ease the installation process
- Overloading indicator with notched housing eliminates overloading mistakes
- Color-coded springs for easy ID onsite: right color, no mistake
- Easily ID complete levels on site with brightly colored housing
Versatility:
- Install on various structures, including concrete and cross-laminated timber (CLT) slabs, reducing the need for multiple product types
- Use your preferred mounting method (direct mounting, rod suspension or wire suspension)
- Use your preferred interface (cold-rolled channel/furring channel or drywall grid)
