The updates show the evolution of our company since its founding in 1951. While this is a significant change, our vison hasn’t changed: make the world a quieter place where people are happier, healthier and more productive in an environment with responsibly managed sound and vibration levels.
Over the last few months, we have poured our hearts and souls into creating a new image that would accurately depict who we are and what we do.
Over the years, CDM grew to become a trusted name in the world of noise and vibration isolation solutions and now, we want to reflect that in a stronger and more recognizable name. We have far outgrown our original use case of only manufacturing composite damping materials and we expanded our activities to offer comprehensive engineered solutions suited for a variety of industries and applications.
The rebranding strategy reflects both the evolution of our company as well as our vision for the future.
Why the new look?
Well, it was time to revisit our narrative — one that reflected our maturity, our considerable growth, and our commitment to driving impact with engineered noise and vibration isolation solutions. It was time to catch up with the company we’ve become and prepare for the future we’re building.
Our market research confirmed that evolving our name, rather than completely changing it, was the appropriate strategic move for us. While we wanted to accurately reflect our work in the new naming, we also wanted to give this company every opportunity for future growth and expansion.
What’s new?
We’ve changed our logo, our website, our social media, and our focus. Through different type treatments, a refined color palette, graphic shapes, and new photography, we wanted to build a new platform that highlights the people we serve and the places we help create.
We’ve taken this opportunity to evolve and improve our approach in the market as a whole. We continually strive to be better at everything that we do, every day, for every client. A new, more distinctive name, together with updated visuals and better communication will help us serve our clients better.
