To support our further growth, we are seeking for a highly motivated Project Delivery Manager to strengthen our team and further expand CDM Stravitec’s presence across North America

 

Role

You will be involved in the design of technical projects in the field of vibration isolation for both Building and Industrial applications and you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and supervising these projects. From the initial design phase through to project completion, you will participate in meetings with external stakeholders such as structural engineers, acoustic consultants, architects, and construction companies to ensure that all project requirements are met.
In this position, you will work in continuous contact with customers and with the support teams at our headquarters, including the Operations Department (Purchasing, Production, Logistics) and the Technology Department (Engineering, Drafting, Laboratory, etc.), through your designated support engineers, in order to propose and implement the optimal CDM Stravitec solutions for each project.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Customer Management

  • Providing technical support during both the pre-sales and post-sales phases of projects
  • Acting as the first-line technical resource to provide recommendations and answers to customers’ informal inquiries;
  • Handling customer requests and questions in a timely manner;
  • Reviewing and filtering project information received and coordinating the necessary support from central services for specific aspects, in order to prepare the best possible proposals and responses from the local subsidiary;
  • Preparing quotations associated with the proposed technical solutions and providing customers with technical and commercial information regarding CDM Stravitec solutions;
  • Providing Product Managers with market information to help identify potential improvements and/or new developments for our range of solutions.
     

Project Management

  • Managing projects comprehensively from the design/quotation phase through to invoicing;
  • Ensuring that projects are supplied and installed on time and within the planned budget;
  • Coordinating both material supply from headquarters and the installation team schedule;
  • Attending site meetings and site visits, on-site acoustic testing, and supervising installations when required by the project;
  • Informing Management, central services, and suppliers about the medium-term project pipeline to help all parties anticipate the human and material resources (including stock) required to deliver projects on time when needed.

 

Profile

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or relevant professional experience focused on Building, Construction, and/or Structural Engineering;
  • Education or experience in acoustics and/or vibration control will be considered a strong advantage;
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with organizations involved in construction/building projects, whether within a construction company or in a consulting, engineering, architecture, or technical assistance firm;
  • Project management experience within construction companies or direct coordination with construction companies will be highly valued;
  • Ability to identify and understand project/client needs and propose appropriate solutions;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills;
  • Excellent command of English is essential;
