House of Music

The House of Music is the personal vision of Italian producer and former DJ Andrea Lo Solfo, a prominent figure in the Italian dance and progressive scene in the 1990s and 2000s who made Warsaw, Poland, his home.

Driven by a lasting passion for music production, Lo Solfo set out to establish a state-of-the-art facility. Fusing Italian aesthetic taste with his wife Gosia’s architectural sensibility, the facility serves as a multi-purpose creative hub featuring a Dolby Atmos mixing room, a full production studio, and a DJ performance area within a unified, acoustically optimized environment.

Crucially, the facility functions as an educational laboratory and production centre for immersive audio workflows. To realize this vision, an uncompromising box-in-box design was required to fully decouple the 40 m² room from the surrounding structure, successfully designed by Studio Sound Service.
Today, The House of Music is officially listed in the Dolby Atmos Music Directory, reflecting its adherence to the highest acoustic and technical standards for immersive audio environments.

To satisfy the stringent acoustic insulation demands of a certified immersive audio space, the 40 m² room was engineered as a decoupled box-in-box construction. A critical element of this isolation envelope is the acoustic suspension of the ceiling to prevent flanking and airborne noise transmission.

CDM Stravitec supplied Stravilink CC40-P acoustic hangers to isolate the ceiling structure. Designed as Channel Clips with integrated elastomeric Pads, the Stravilink CC40-P units are purpose-built for suspending acoustic ceilings on standard 47 mm steel channels.

By mechanically decoupling the overhead assembly, the hangers optimize vertical sound insulation between stacked spaces while serving as an integral, high-performance component of the complete box-in-box design.
