Villa Infante

Villa Infante, located in Estrela, one of Lisbon’s most enchanting neighbourhoods, is a private condominium with beautiful contemporary one- and two-bedroom flats and modern conveniences such as a fully equipped gym.

The development consists of several buildings built around a central patio and surrounded by secluded gardens where residents can escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

To deliver on the promise of quiet luxury living, the 16 elevators going up and down in the apartment buildings had to be acoustically decoupled to prevent vibrations from causing a noise problem.

To isolate the Thyssenkrupp Synergy100 elevators Stravimech ElevatorFix isolation systems were installed on every mechanical connection. 

The same type of vibration isolators are use to decouple the guide rails and bottom parts of the elevators engines from the surrounding structure, minimizing differential movement of the rails due to dynamic forces, and thereby preventing unwanted structure-borne vibrations from creating a noise problem in the rest of the apartment building.
