Bowling Puy Saint Vincent

This multiplexe and multicultural building is a wish from the city of Puy Saint Vincent to have a new culture and meeting spot, and the first stone was laid in 2021.
This project will result in the creation of an all-season reception and leisure center for the local population, the valley and vacationers.
The complex's facilities will also be accessible to local schools.
It is built at the altitude of the 1600 Puy-Saint-Vincent ski resort. The land chosen for this operation is located downstream of the “la voile” building, on a platform which currently accommodates a caterpillar hangar.

To address the significant acoustic constraints despite the relative isolation from the train station, especially given the multifunctional use of the building for sporting activities, cultural events, and musical performances, an effective vibration decoupling solution was essential. This was particularly crucial for the bowling area, where vibrations could easily disrupt other activities.

Partnering with VENATECH, an acoustic design office, we developed a specialized solution: a decoupled Stravifloor Deck, a low-profile floating floor system using a proprietary dovetailed metal deck for thin concrete pours. The design of the Stravifloor Deck ensures effective vibration isolation, minimizing acoustic interference between the diverse range of activities hosted within the building. This setup provides a robust yet space-efficient solution, addressing both the structural and acoustic requirements of the project.
