Isolated Wall and Ceiling System
Stravilink QRC “Quiet Resilient Clip” is a high-performance acoustic isolation clip engineered for use in both wall and ceiling constructions. It decouples standard metal channels to significantly reduce the transmission of structure-borne sound between vertically and horizontally connected rooms.
Designed for versatility, it is particularly effective in applications with limited space, enabling high acoustic performance even with minimal void depth in suspended ceilings or wall linings. Its compact design makes it ideal for renovation projects, lightweight partitions, and spaces with restricted ceiling height, without compromising acoustic isolation.
Benefits
-
For Specifiers
Guaranteed Acoustical Performance:
- Covers load conditions of up to 24 kg (53 lbs) with a natural frequency of 10 Hz at design load (for ceiling applications)
Safety & Structural Integrity:
- Prevents isolated partition buckling with added structural stability
- Made with an electrogalvanized flexible steel element for guaranteed long-term performance
Space Efficiency:
- Appropriate solution for renovations of older buildings and adaptive reuse, with low-profile void as low as 35 mm (1-3/8") for both ceiling and wall applications
Easy To Specify:
- Easily integrate into project documentation and workflows with ready-to-use .dwg cross-sections and editable .doc specifications available online
Sustainability:
- Solution disassembles for sustainable end-of-life
- LEED certification available
-
For Installers
Time & Labor Savings:
- Attaches to substrate with two pre-drilled 5mm (3/16") attachment points. Use the self-adhesion strip for easy placement
- One-component system to attach the furring channels
- Over-compression safety eliminates the risk of over-compression installation errors
Versatility:
- Versatile solution attaches to ceilings or walls, and any substrate, including concrete, cross-laminated timber (CLT), wood joists, and metal studs. Appropriate for retrofit projects with narrow voids, as the product does not impact floor-to-ceiling or wall-to-wall space
- Solution fits a range of furring channel widths from 60-70 mm (2-3/8"-2-3/4")
