Avenues - The World School

A look inside Avenues Shenzhen, the newest campus of Avenues: The World School. At this state-of-the-art pre-K–12th grade campus students are set up for a promising bilingual future through language immersion in English and a unique global humanities program.

For the acoustic improvement of Avenues Shenzhen, CDM Stravitec was asked to install a floating floor for the basketball court. CDM Stravitec reinforced steel boxes were cast into the concrete and jacked up, so that the floor is lifted, and unwanted vibrations are prevented from causing noise problems in the surrounding classrooms. 

We were honored to contribute to this wonderful project by installing a Stravifloor Jackup-R jack-up floating floor preventing unwanted vibrations from the basketball court from causing noise problems in the surrounding classrooms.
