CDM Stravitec conducted a second test campaign to measure the sound insulation properties of dropped ceilings with Stravilink acoustic suspension hangers and lightweight Stravifloor floating floor systems in combination with CLT (cross-laminated timber). Main goals of this complementary study were:
- Studying the impact of acoustical suspended ceiling with resilient hangers and insulation material in the void in comparison with non-acoustical suspended ceiling;
- Identify the impact of an acoustic treatment strictly from below a bare CLT slab.
